Job summary
Reworld Waste is seeking a Head of Transportation to lead the enterprise fleet strategy and the transportation network. You will balance the day-to-day operations of a large multi-site fleet with a long-term sustainability vision, driving efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance across all regions.
The role requires a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, experience in fleet management software and telematics, and a track record of reducing emissions while improving asset
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in transportation, logistics, or fleet management with 5+ years in leadership (within waste/logistics preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business or related field; MBA a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead enterprise Fleet Reliability Program.
- Own DOT and FMCSA compliance across the enterprise fleet.
- Partner with Procurement on fleet acquisition and 3PL strategy.
- Lead long-term fleet replacement strategy and capital planning.
- Collaborate with regional teams to enable enterprise strategy and low-emission transitions.
