Job summary
Reworld, a sustainability-driven waste management company, is seeking a Head of Transportation to lead enterprise fleet strategy across regions, drive productivity, standardization, and governance, and align transportation operations with environmental goals.
Reporting to the EVP of Operations, you will manage fleet reliability, capital planning, DOT compliance, and supplier partnerships while guiding regional leaders and coordinating with sustainability and customer service teams to optimize
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise fleet reliability program and deploy Transportation Management System across service territories.
- Own DOT/FMCSA compliance and transportation safety performance.
- Partner with Procurement on fleet acquisition and 3PL strategy.
- Lead long-term fleet replacement strategy and capital planning.
- Collaborate with regional leaders and cross-functionally with operations, sustainability, and customer service.
