Job summary

Reworld Waste seeks a hands-on Head of Transportation to lead the enterprise fleet strategy, governance, and continuous improvement across regions. You will balance practical fleet operations with a long-term sustainability vision.

You will collaborate with procurement, safety, and regional teams, drive route optimization, and ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance while advancing cleaner transportation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role; experience in waste management or related logistics-heavy industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and fleet maintenance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise Fleet Reliability Program and deploy a Transportation Management System.
• Drive fleet uptime, reduce lifecycle costs, and improve asset utilization.
• Own DOT and FMCSA compliance across the enterprise fleet and partner with EHS teams to reduce incidents.
