Reworld Waste is seeking a Head of Transportation to direct the enterprise fleet strategy and governance, aligning regional operations with a sustainability-focused vision. You will drive fleet reliability, route optimization, and cost controls while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety across the organization.
The role requires leadership experience in transportation and logistics, with a focus on waste-management sector.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in waste/logistics-heavy industry.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and emerging clean transportation technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead an enterprise Fleet Reliability Program and deploy a Transportation Management System.
- Ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance across the enterprise fleet; drive safety and standards.
- Collaborate with Procurement on fleet acquisition and 3PL strategies to reduce TCO.
- Lead long-term fleet replacement strategy, budgeting, and CAPEX planning.
