Job summary

MP Materials in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Director for Talent, Learning & Organizational Development to lead the talent lifecycle and build scalable learning frameworks aligned with business priorities.

You will shape leadership development, performance management, succession planning, and analytics, partnering with executives to drive organizational effectiveness across MP Materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree and HR certifications preferred.
• 8–10 years progressive HR experience with Talent Management, Learning, and/or Organizational Development.
• Experience designing and implementing performance management, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
• Experience leading enterprise talent programs in a growing organization.
• Strong program leadership and change management experience; ability to drive adoption of new processes.
• Ability to translate talent strategies into practical, scalable solutions and measure impact.
• Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels; familiarity with LMS and digital learning strategies.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end talent lifecycle including performance management, talent assessment, and employee development.
• Design and continuously improve end-to-end performance management processes.
• Partner with leaders to strengthen goal clarity, feedback quality, and performance conversations; identify skill gaps.
• Lead enterprise talent review processes including succession planning and development planning.
• Establish and monitor talent analytics and metrics to inform decisions.
• Design and deliver manager and leadership development strategies; build leadership pipelines.
• Partner to diagnose organizational needs and drive change and transformation to improve performance.
• Provide tools for coaching, mentoring, and leadership development at all levels.
• Foster high-performance culture, engagement, retention, and leadership effectiveness.
• Define and scale enterprise learning aligned to business priorities; manage learning platforms.
