Job summary

Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) seeks a Director of Learning and Development to lead the global education portfolio. You will shape strategy, roadmap, and material quality, ensuring content remains current and technically innovative across formats through a qualified instructor network.

You will partner with Certification leadership to align training with credentialing, drive growth with PPS, and manage a cross-functional team in a fast-paced not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in adult education or instructional design or related field.
• 10+ years in instructional design, course development, project management, or education management.
• Not-for-profit/association experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead through ADDIE, SAME and AGILE processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a multi-year education plan and product roadmap with revenue and participation targets.
• Lead department in ADDIE, SAME, AGILE and other course development methodologies.
• Assess learning needs via surveys, focus groups, and market data to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with Certification and PPS teams to align offerings with goals.
• Oversee instructor network and simplify delivery across all media types.
