Job summary

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is seeking a Manager, Supplier Development Engineering for Special Process & Mechanical Assembly. This hybrid role can be located at Beachwood, OH; Charlotte, NC; Detroit/Jackson, MI; Menomonee Falls, WI; Moon Township, PA; Peachtree City, GA; or Raleigh, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of eight (8) years experience in Supplier Development, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years leadership experience managing technical teams and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the supplier development strategy for regions, commodities, or business segments.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supplier Development Engineers with clear performance expectations.
• Oversee supplier capability, manufacturing, operational, and capacity risk assessments and mitigation.
• Drive Lean/Six Sigma based manufacturing excellence and process capability improvements.
