Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Manager, Supplier Development Engineering for Special Process & Mechanical Assembly. Hybrid role across multiple U.S. facilities, including Menomonee Falls, WI. Travel up to 50% and relocation within the United States are supported.

You will lead a team of engineers to develop supplier capability, drive performance, and ensure readiness for NPI, transfers, and capacity expansions. Strong cross-functional leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality or related technical discipline.
• Eight (8) years minimum experience in Supplier Development, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• Three (3) years minimum leadership experience managing technical teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the supplier development strategy for assigned regions, commodities, or business segments.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supplier Development Engineers.
• Provide oversight of supplier capability, manufacturing, operational and capacity risk assessments.
• Drive supplier manufacturing excellence initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving tools.
• Lead assessments of supplier capacity, scalability, and readiness for forecasted demand and new product launches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier readiness throughout development, APQP/PPAP, and launch processes.
