Job summary

F5 Networks is seeking a senior leader to manage the Solutions Engineering team within the F5 Tech vertical, focusing on technical sales. You will set objectives, align resources, and guide the SE group to meet company goals while delivering value to customers.

You will oversee performance reviews, headcount planning with quarterly/annual targets, and collaboration with HR on recruitment. Strong networking knowledge, communication, and leadership are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree required or relevant work experience.
• A number of years' experience managing technical SEs in a management role.
• Thorough understanding of networking technologies and applications delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technologies.
• Self-motivated with the ability to persuade direct reports and others outside the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels within an organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage the SE team including performance evaluations, staffing, and training.
• Define core objectives, strategy and priorities for Engineers for the SE Team.
• Plan headcounts quarterly and yearly to ensure scalability to meet goals.
• Collaborate with HR on candidate recruitment for open positions.
• Drive customer-focused initiatives and communicate market trends to PM/PD.
