Job summary

F5 seeks a seasoned leader to manage the Solutions Engineering team within the F5 Tech vertical, focusing on technical sales and cross-functional collaboration. You will set objectives, drive strategy, and ensure the SE organization scales to meet ambitious goals.

You will partner with HR on recruiting, mentor staff, and shape processes to support customer success and market-facing initiatives across the engineering and product groups.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree required or relevant work experience.
• Thorough understanding of networking technologies and applications delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technologies.
• Self-motivated and have the ability to persuade direct reports and others outside the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels within an organization.

Responsibilities

• Uphold the company’s ethics and policy compliance; report violations.
• Lead and manage the Solutions Engineering team, including performance evaluations and staffing decisions.
• Define objectives, strategy, and priorities for the SE team.
• Collaborate with management on headcount planning to scale the SE organization.
• Oversee recruitment in collaboration with HR and build a high-performing team.
• Create an environment of teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and maintain an effective SE partner plan with PS, support, Marketing, PM, etc.
• Align SE objectives with product and business unit roadmaps; drive customer success.
