Job summary

F5 is seeking a seasoned leader to manage the Solutions Engineering team within the F5 Tech vertical, guiding technical sales activities and ensuring the SE organization aligns with company goals. You will set objectives, delegate work, and drive performance across engineers while collaborating with HR on staffing and development plans.

Role requires deep networking knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to articulate complex technologies to customers.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree required or relevant work experience.
• Thorough understanding of networking technologies and applications delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Solutions Engineering team, including performance evaluations, PTO, and staff development.
• Define core objectives, strategy and priorities for Engineers for the SE Team.
• Plan headcounts quarterly and yearly to scale the SE organization to meet goals.
• Recruitment coordination with HR and cross-functional partners.
• Ensure customer-focused delivery, drive product requirements and market trends.
• Present F5 strategy, solution messaging and roadmap to customers and partners.
