CVS Health Corporation is seeking an experienced engineering leader to drive technical strategy across a large-scale, multi-team organization. You will set architectural standards and ensure delivery velocity while guiding the adoption of AI and scalable backend systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading large-scale engineering organizations.
• Deep, hands-on technical foundation in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven AI platform ownership with production deployment, not just demos, plus responsible AI practices.
• Track record of engineering transformation from monoliths to microservices under business pressure.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical strategy across a multi-team engineering organization (50-150+ engineers).
• Embed LLMs, generative AI, agentic workflows, and ML-powered automation into the engineering lifecycle.
• Own delivery at velocity; ship and be accountable for outcomes.
• Partner at the executive level with Product owners, Data Engineers, and health care leaders.
• Be the technical voice in the room; call out architectural debt and advocate for the right investments.
