CVS Health Corporation is seeking a senior software engineering leader to drive technical strategy for a multi-team organization. You will own delivery, set architecture standards, and embed AI and ML-powered automation into the lifecycle.

You will partner with product, data, and healthcare leaders to translate business strategy into engineering bets and act as the technical voice in critical decisions. The role requires a decade of software engineering experience, strong cloud-native expertise,

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive software engineering experience
5+ years leading large-scale engineering organizations
Deep foundation in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
Proven ownership of AI platforms and production AI systems
Track record of migrating monoliths to microservices and modernizing platforms

Responsibilities

Drive technical strategy across a multi-team engineering organization (50-150+ engineers)
Embed LLMs, generative AI, agentic workflows, and ML-powered automation into the engineering lifecycle
Own delivery at velocity and be accountable for outcomes
Partner with Product owners, Data Engineers, and Health care leaders to translate business strategy into engineering bets
Be the technical voice in the room, addressing debt and advocating for the right investments
