Job summary

Memories.ai is seeking a hands-on Community Manager to own and grow the physical AI research community in the Bay Area. You will source and nurture researchers and operators from robotics labs and startups, keep our CRM up to date, and run founder dinners and meetups in SF, Palo Alto, and across the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Sales or investing background with pipeline management experience.
• Demonstrated interest in robotics through work, investing, research or side projects.
• Already connected to Bay Area robotics and AI researchers, or eager to be.
• Excellent host who makes attendees want to come back.
• Organized and high-agency, and comfortable owning a budget.
• A strong writer. Your invites get opened and answered.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the roster of researchers and operators from robotics labs, frontier labs and startups. Keep our community CRM current and know who should meet whom.
• Run our recurring founder and researcher dinners in SF and Palo Alto, from guest list and invites to follow-ups.
• Organize smaller regular meetups around shared interests, such as pickup basketball, a run club or climbing.
• Host talks, demos and happy hours at our SF office at 724 Pine St.
• Own venues, vendors and the events budget.
• Track attendance, repeat attendance and relationships that turn into partnerships; share insights with GTM and marketing.
