Memories.ai is the data infrastructure layer between data generators and frontier labs. We're building a curated video datalake for physical AI. Our mission is to accelerate physical intelligence.
The people building physical AI in the Bay Area are working on the same hard problems. The fastest way to move the industry forward is to get them in a room, trade notes and have a good time doing it.
You'll own our physical AI research community: who's in it, how it grows, and the events that bring it together - founder and researcher dinners in SF, sports meetups, and events at our office.
We manage our community like a pipeline. Every relationship is sourced, tracked and followed up on, and the best ones turn into friends, partners and long-term customers.
You'll interface directly and routinely with our founding team, while working closely with partnerships and marketing. It's a super hands-on role.
Community. Build and manage the roster of researchers and operators from robotics labs, frontier labs and startups. Keep our community CRM current and know who should meet whom. Be a hyper-connector.
Dinners. Run our recurring founder and researcher dinners in SF and Palo Alto, from guest list and invites to follow-ups.
Meetups. Organize smaller regular meetups around shared interests, such as pickup basketball, a run club or climbing.
Office events. Host talks, demos and happy hours at our SF office at 724 Pine St.
Budget and logistics. Own venues, vendors and the events budget.
Measurement. Track attendance, repeat attendance and relationships that turn into partnerships. Share what's working with GTM and marketing.
30 days: Community CRM live, first dinner run end to end, and a regular meetup on the calendar with rotating groups of attendees.
90 days: A monthly dinner plus regular smaller meetups, with a growing core of repeat attendees.
180 days: The Bay Area's go-to physical AI community, with relationships manifesting into long-term partnerships and new high impact hires.
Driven to make a dent in the world and see this time period as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to do so.
Shared vision of a world in which robots co-exist alongside humans and elevate us to live ever-increasing fulfilling lives.
A sales or investing background (ideally VC or growth equity). You know how to run a pipeline and will run one for community relationships: sourcing, tracking and converting them.
A demonstrated interest in robotics, through work, investing, research or side projects.
Already connected to Bay Area robotics and AI researchers, or eager to be.
An excellent host. People leave your events wanting to come back.
Organized and high-agency, and comfortable owning a budget.
A strong writer. Your invites get opened and answered.
Experience building or running a community or events series, ideally in tech or AI.
Technical background or fluency in AI and robotics.
In office 5 days a week in San Francisco. Events run across the Bay Area, including some evenings and weekends.
Highly competitive compensation package that encompasses a strong base salary, with substantial equity upside.
