Job summary

Hellyeah AI in San Francisco is seeking a Community Manager to grow our AI startup’s community, strengthen our brand presence, and connect with the local AI and startup ecosystem.

You will build relationships with founders, developers, and creators; plan events and meetups; manage communication across Slack, Discord, LinkedIn; and collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to drive ongoing engagement and community growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in community management, marketing, events, operations, or related roles.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Smart, proactive, and a fast learner with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build diverse relationships.
• High ownership and hands-on mindset.
• Based in San Francisco and available to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with AI founders, developers, creators, and startup communities.
• Plan and execute community events, meetups, networking sessions, and engagement initiatives.
• Manage community communications across Slack, Discord, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Support brand awareness, community growth, and partnership initiatives.
• Coordinate multiple projects, events, and stakeholders with timely execution.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to drive community engagement.
• Track community performance, gather feedback, and continuously improve engagement strategies.
