Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr Manager, People Systems & Workforce Insights to set the multi‑year technology direction for People & Community, overseeing HR systems, data governance, and workforce analytics. You will lead governance, budgeting, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure secure, compliant, and equitable solutions while driving AI and automation responsibly.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related work experience, including 3+ years leading teams, enterprise-wide programs, or large cross-functional initiatives.
• BA/BS degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on HRIS platform expertise: Workday configuration, security, testing, and support.
• HR data, reporting, and analytics: experience with governance, dashboards, audits, and data quality.
• System implementation and enhancement work across modules and business processes.
• Compliance, controls, and security within HR systems.
• Project, program and change management in enterprise settings.
• Cross-functional partnership with HR, payroll, IT, finance, security, and vendors.
• Core HR knowledge: org structures, compensation, benefits, recruiting, lifecycle events, performance, talent data.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the multi-year division technology strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities.
• Lead governance for HR system configuration, security, data, reporting, and vendor performance.
• Oversee budgeting, contracts, renewals, and implementation partners.
• Represent People and Community in enterprise technology, data, AI, security, and operating-model forums.
• Lead and develop the HR systems and analytics team.
• Own the division’s technology intake and prioritization.
• Process owner for internal controls and audits.
• Safeguard sensitive employee data and oversee AI-related decisions.
• Improve platform reliability, adoption, and end-user self-service.
• Shape workforce measures definitions and executive reporting.
• Deliver accurate executive workforce reporting to leadership and board.
• Advance self-service analytics and data literacy for HR partners.
• Oversee employee listening technology and reporting.
