CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director for Cloud and Platform Engineering to shape the multi-cloud strategy across GCP, AWS, and Azure. You will guide architecture, platform engineering, automation, and production readiness while building an organization and operating model for enterprise-scale delivery.

You will lead across cloud architecture, security, identity, observability, and cost efficiency, collaborating with DevOps, SRE, and enterprise teams to set standards and drive modernization.

Competenze

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps/SRE or related fields.
• 5+ years of technology leadership, engineering management, architecture leadership or equivalent large-scale leadership.
• 7+ years of deep engineering experience in at least one major public cloud with working knowledge of GCP, AWS and Azure.
• 7+ years of experience with cloud foundations and landing zones incl. networking, DNS, identity, security, Kubernetes, compute, storage, databases, shared services and observability.
• 5+ years of experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation and reusable engineering patterns.
• 5+ years of experience partnering with dedicated DevOps/Operations and Production SRE teams to deliver reliable production operation.
• 5+ years of experience defining or applying SLOs, SLIs, production-readiness criteria, observability, capacity management, disaster recovery and operational support models.

• Own cloud platform engineering strategy and roadmap for multi-cloud environment.
• Translate business priorities into sequenced engineering initiatives and modernization plans.
• Provide executive visibility into roadmap progress, platform adoption, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Lead architecture, engineering, implementation, and lifecycle management across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Drive automation, IaC, and reusable patterns to accelerate onboarding and delivery.
• Establish production-readiness standards including SLOs/SLIs and observability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to deliver integrated platform capabilities.
