Job summary

Korn Ferry is seeking a Model Governance Engineer for a fully remote role in the Insurance sector. You will lead governance for neural network models, oversee model validation, and drive lifecycle processes to ensure compliance with AI policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities include developing dashboards, metrics, and reports on model performance and risk, while collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to embed governance across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building neural network models and governance frameworks across ML solutions.
• Experience with model risk management, explainability, bias testing, and audits.
• Strong communication skills to explain model behavior to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain neural network models and governance frameworks, standards, and controls for ML and linking solutions.
• Lead model validation and review activities, including performance assessment, precision analysis, explainability evaluation, bias testing, and risk identification.
• Establish and monitor model lifecycle processes covering development, testing, deployment, monitoring, retraining, and retirement.
• Develop governance metrics, dashboards, and reporting to provide visibility into model performance, drift, risk exposure, and business impact.
• Partner with data scientists, software engineers, architects, and stakeholders to embed governance throughout the model lifecycle.
• Create and maintain model documentation, validation reports, audit artifacts, governance approvals, and regulatory evidence.
• Evaluate model performance using statistical analysis, precision/recall, confidence scoring, and outcome monitoring.
• Lead investigations into model degradation and governance exceptions with mitigation actions.
