Job summary

Roadtex Transportation is seeking an experienced leader to guide a team of operations management and staff within the Sales Operations department. The role focuses on day‑to‑day operations, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement across customer supply chains.

The position requires strong cross‑functional communication, KPI oversight, and a proven track record in implementing efficiency improvements in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Transportation Industry experience.
• Proven ability to develop interdepartmental partnerships.
• Experience managing teams working cross‑functionally within an organization.
• Experience meeting with clients at multiple levels and building strong relationships.
• Confidence to make tough decisions when necessary.
• Industry knowledge of transportation concepts, practices and procedures.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report KPIs including financial performance and productivity.
• Review weekly statistics and act to meet management expectations.
• Devise solutions to increase efficiency and profitability across customers' supply chains.
• Generate ideas to remove operational obstacles and increase team efficiency.
• Conduct regular Account Reviews with Client Sales to meet goals.
• Manage the execution of large departmental projects and transitions.
• Develop QA initiatives and process verification.
• Partner with HR for requisition management and onboarding of new team members.
• Provide developmental feedback through regular conversations and goal meetings.
• Oversee onboarding and training curriculum for the department.
• Own transitions of structural changes to Client Ops.
• Collaborate with training to create ongoing upskilling and career development.
• Lead tech adoption across operations staff and brokers.
• Own KPIs related to efficiencies (loads per HC, Operations Cost per Load).
