Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, a nationwide LTL leader, seeks a senior leader in Sales Operations to guide a team of operations staff, monitor day-to-day performance, and shape departmental strategy. You will drive continuous improvement, collaborate with Client Sales, HR, and training, and implement efficiency initiatives across customers’ supply chains.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in transportation, strong leadership, and a proven ability to build relationships with clients at multiple levels

Qualifications

• 7+ years in transportation industry or equivalent leadership roles.
• Proven ability to build interdepartmental partnerships and lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing client interactions at multiple levels and delivering results.
• Strong decision-making skills under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Expertise in metrics, KPIs, and driving profitability through operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of operations management and staff within Sales Operations.
• Monitor and report KPIs including financial performance and productivity.
• Review weekly stats and implement actions to meet management goals.
• Develop tailored solutions to increase efficiency and profitability across customers' supply chains.
• Oversee large departmental projects and transitions.
• Partner with HR for requisition management and onboarding.
• Conduct regular account reviews with Client Sales to ensure goals are met.
• Drive tech adoption and continuous training for operational staff.
• Own transition of structural changes in Client Ops.
