Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, now part of Echo Global Logistics, seeks an experienced leader to guide the Sales Operations team. You will monitor day-to-day operations, drive strategic initiatives, and partner with Client Sales to ensure achievement of goals.

The role emphasizes improving efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction through data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration. Extensive leadership and project-management experience are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Transportation Industry experience
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong interdepartmental partnerships
• Experience in managing teams cross-functional within an organization
• Experience meeting with clients at multiple levels and building relationships
• Confidence to make tough decisions when necessary
• Industry knowledge and ability to advise on best practices
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and metrics
• Leadership experience under pressure and tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report KPIs for team performance and account profitability
• Review weekly statistics and execute actions to meet management expectations
• Devise solutions to increase efficiency and profitability across customers' supply chains
• Generate ideas to remove obstacles and improve team efficiency
• Conduct regular Account Reviews with Client Sales
• Manage execution of large departmental projects and transitions
• Develop QA initiatives and process verification for the department
• Partner with HR and Recruiting for onboarding of new team members
• Lead developmental conversations and provide feedback to direct reports
• Oversee onboarding and training curriculum for the department
• Coordinate structural changes in Client Ops and communicate effectively
• Facilitate continuous training for upskilling and career development
• Drive tech adoption for operations tasks across brokers/sales reps
• Own KPI tracking related to loads per HC and operation cost per load
