Job summary

Accendra Health seeks a Director of Indirect Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise-wide procurement strategy across indirect spend. You will partner with Finance, HR, IT, and operations to drive governance, risk management, and value creation.

You will manage a team of procurement professionals, shape supplier relationships, and drive category strategies with a focus on cost optimization, resilience, and performance improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive procurement, sourcing, category management, supply chain, or related leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading procurement, sourcing, or category management teams.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide indirect spend programs within healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, or similarly regulated industries preferred.
• Demonstrated success delivering transformational procurement initiatives and enterprise value creation.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier management, procurement technology, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead enterprise indirect procurement strategy and category roadmaps to align with growth and financial targets.
• Direct supplier governance, category management, and risk controls across indirect spend.
• Partner with Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Facilities to shape procurement governance and budgeting.
• Lead executive-level supplier relationship programs and governance forums with strategic suppliers.
• Drive procurement modernization through analytics, tools, and data-driven process improvements.
