Accendra Health is seeking a Director of Indirect Procurement & Category Management to provide strategic leadership for enterprise‑wide indirect procurement. You will develop sourcing strategies, governance, and supplier programs while leading a team of procurement professionals across indirect spend categories.

The role partners with executives to ensure procurement aligns with growth, compliance, and financial goals, driving value creation and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive procurement leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading procurement, sourcing, or category management teams.
• Experience in healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, or similarly regulated industries preferred.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi‑year indirect procurement and category management strategy aligned with objectives and financial targets.
• Lead category governance frameworks, sourcing standards, and procurement policies.
• Partner with executive leaders to drive budgeting, forecasting, and margin improvement.
• Establish supplier relationship management programs and governance with strategic suppliers.
• Drive procurement modernization, analytics, and data‑driven decision making.
• Coach and develop category management and sourcing teams to build capability.
