Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Director of Indirect Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise-wide procurement strategy across indirect spend categories. You will partner with executives to ensure governance, risk management, and value creation while guiding a team of procurement professionals.

The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and global category leadership to deliver measurable cost savings and continuity across healthcare services and products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive procurement, sourcing, category management, or related leadership experience.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide indirect spend programs within healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, or similarly regulated industries preferred.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year indirect procurement and category management strategy aligned with organizational objectives and financial targets.
• Translate priorities into category roadmaps, sourcing plans, supplier strategies, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead procurement planning to optimize total cost of ownership, service levels, supplier performance, and efficiency.
• Establish governance frameworks, sourcing standards, and policies driving consistency and accountability.
• Lead supplier relationship management programs with executive oversight and governance forums.
