Accendra Health is seeking a seasoned Director of Indirect Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise-wide sourcing and governance across indirect spend. You will partner with executives to drive cost optimization, supplier performance, risk management, and procurement transformation, while mentoring a team of procurement professionals.

This role shapes strategy for growth and compliance in healthcare.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive procurement, sourcing, category management, or related leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading procurement, sourcing, or category management teams.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide indirect spend programs within healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, or similarly regulated industries preferred.
• Demonstrated success delivering transformational procurement initiatives and enterprise value creation.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier management, procurement technology, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead enterprise indirect procurement strategy and category management programs.
• Translate priorities into category roadmaps, sourcing plans, supplier strategies, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead procurement planning to optimize total cost of ownership and supplier performance.
• Establish governance frameworks, sourcing standards, and procurement policies for consistency.
• Partner with executive leaders to align investments and governance.
• Drive procurement modernization, analytics, and process improvements.
• Coach and develop the category management and sourcing team.
