Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Director of Indirect Procurement & Category Management to provide strategic leadership across enterprise indirect spend and category programs. You will partner with executives to shape sourcing strategies, governance, and value creation while building a high-performing procurement team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive procurement, sourcing, category management, supply chain, or related leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading procurement, sourcing, or category management teams.
• Experience managing enterprise‑wide indirect spend programs within healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, or similarly regulated industries preferred.
• Demonstrated success delivering transformational procurement initiatives and enterprise value creation.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier management, procurement technology, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year indirect procurement and category management strategy aligned with organizational objectives, growth initiatives, and financial targets.
• Translate enterprise priorities into category roadmaps, sourcing plans, supplier strategies, and measurable procurement outcomes.
• Lead procurement planning processes that optimize total cost of ownership, customer service levels, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
• Establish category governance frameworks, sourcing standards, and procurement policies that drive consistency and accountability across the enterprise.
