Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior leader to head People Operations in the United States, guiding HRIS/Payroll/Benefits, and shaping the HR technology strategy across a robust tech stack including Workday and Ashby ATS. You will drive enterprise system integrations, automation, and strategic vendor partnerships from Denver, CO, with a focus on efficiency and reliability.

The role requires 10+ years in core HR operations, 4+ years in people leadership, and a proven track record implementing AI agents

Qualifications

10+ years experience in core people operations functions such as HRIS administration, payroll, and benefits administration.
4+ years of people leadership experience.
Experience creating and executing an HR technology strategy required.
Experience creating and deploying AI agents across enterprise systems.
Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities concurrently.
Proven communication and presentation skills.
Proven operational excellence and systems improvements.
Strategic thinker with intellectual curiosity.
Candidates must live in the United States and authorized to work full-time in the US.
Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the People Operations team, including Workday Administration, Benefits Operations, and Payroll Operations.
Lead and manage the HR automation strategy, including the Workday system, HR tech stack, and enterprise-system integrations and automations.
Manage vendor relationships with HR technology tools and HR operations partners.
Optimize vendor offerings, efficiency, and service.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to support Ashby ATS and recruiting analytics.
Partner with HR Business Partners to provide technology-based solutions.
Improve business efficiency, self-service, and HR process integrity.
