Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior leader to head People Operations in the United States, guiding HRIS/Payroll/Benefits, and shaping the HR technology strategy across a robust tech stack including Workday and Ashby ATS. You will drive enterprise system integrations, automation, and strategic vendor partnerships from Denver, CO, with a focus on efficiency and reliability.

The role requires 10+ years in core HR operations, 4+ years in people leadership, and a proven track record implementing AI agents

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in core people operations functions such as HRIS administration, payroll, and benefits administration.
• 4+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience creating and executing an HR technology strategy required.
• Experience creating and deploying AI agents across enterprise systems.
• Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities concurrently.
• Proven communication and presentation skills.
• Proven operational excellence and systems improvements.
• Strategic thinker with intellectual curiosity.
• Candidates must live in the United States and authorized to work full-time in the US.
• Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the People Operations team, including Workday Administration, Benefits Operations, and Payroll Operations.
• Lead and manage the HR automation strategy, including the Workday system, HR tech stack, and enterprise-system integrations and automations.
• Manage vendor relationships with HR technology tools and HR operations partners.
• Optimize vendor offerings, efficiency, and service.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to support Ashby ATS and recruiting analytics.
• Partner with HR Business Partners to provide technology-based solutions.
• Improve business efficiency, self-service, and HR process integrity.
