Sonesta International Hotels is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Housekeeping in New York. You will lead housekeeping and laundry operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces while driving cleanliness standards, guest satisfaction, and team performance.

You will partner with Front Office, Engineering, Operations, and hotel leadership to ensure consistent readiness and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive housekeeping or hospitality leadership experience.
• Experience leading housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Proven budgeting, vendor management, and guest service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead housekeeping and laundry operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop teams to support excellence.
• Monitor cleanliness scores, inspections, and guest satisfaction to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, Operations and leadership to ensure readiness.
• Oversee inventory, supplies, budgeting, and vendor relationships.
