Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking a Digital Native Solutions Architect team manager to grow and develop a high-impact SA group focused on the largest, fastest-growing tech customers.

You will guide the team in best practices across the full workload lifecycle and represent Databricks as a technical leader with major clients. You will collaborate with Sales, Services, Product, and Engineering to drive solutions, establish executive-level relationships, and influence strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the data space with a technical product (data warehousing, big data, cloud infrastructure, or machine learning).
• 3+ years of experience building and leading technical customer-facing teams: hiring, onboarding, and supporting team members in a high-growth environment.
• A history of building a territory, growing strategic accounts, and exceeding targets.
• Inspiring a team vision about the unique nature of the digital natives business.
• A history of execution by managing workloads and consumption with sales, product, and engineering counterparts.
• Experience owning executive alignment in accounts that guide strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop a team of deeply technical Solutions Architects capable of guiding digital native customers across data, analytics, and AI workloads.
• Adapt the SA team's skills and engagement model to match the needs of digital native customers.
• Meet or exceed targets by enabling the SA team to qualify workloads, identify use cases, build proofs of concepts, and act as trusted advisors.
• Travel to customer sites for executive sessions, technical workshops, and relationship building.
• Establish relationships across engineering, product, services, and sales to ensure customer and team success.
• Stay current with emerging Data and AI trends in the digital native tech sector.
