Job summary

LVI Associates partners with a rapidly growing infrastructure developer to hire an experienced electrical engineering leader who will shape the future of data center campuses in the United States. You will serve as the technical authority for electrical systems across a portfolio of mission-critical projects while establishing standards, mentoring engineers, and influencing major decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage power systems and backup power.
• Proven leadership and team-building experience.
• Strong communication and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering strategy for hyperscale data centers.
• Set engineering standards and quality requirements across the organization.
• Build and mentor a growing team of engineers.
• Oversee design reviews across project phases and provide technical guidance.
• Guide power distribution, backup systems, grounding, and controls.
• Review equipment selections and vendor standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop Basis of Design and project requirements.
• Support construction, commissioning, and operations with technical guidance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Shape the long-term vision and growth of the data center engineering organization.
