Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for remote work across the U.S. to support design and delivery of data center campuses. This senior individual contributor role emphasizes deep technical leadership while coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.

The position focuses on hyperscale electrical infrastructure, reliability, and high-density compute environments, with strong collaboration across lifecycle stages from planning through turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in mission-critical or data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, substations, generators, UPS, protective relaying.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for electrical systems in hyperscale developments.
• Review designs for MV/LV power, substations, switchgear, UPS, generators.
• Support site selection, utility coordination, feasibility and due diligence.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with consultants to ensure reliability across projects.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, value engineering.
• Support procurement, factory testing, commissioning, turnover.
• Evaluate new technologies for high-density compute power.
