Job summary

CVS Health Digital is hiring a Lead Director – Digital Engineering focused on Customer Identity. You will own strategy, modernization, delivery, and operation of identity platforms serving millions of customers across CVS Health brands.

You will partner with Product, Security, Architecture, and Business teams to modernize, secure, and scale identity services, driving operational excellence and measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in software/ platform engineering or CIAM.
• 7+ years of people leadership, including engineering managers and senior managers
• 5+ years of cloud-native transformation, API-first architectures, and platform engineering practices
• Strong understanding of CIAM, authentication, authorization, customer profile services, and identity security principles
• Experience managing budgets, vendor partnerships, workforce planning, and technology investment decisions

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-team engineering organization responsible for authentication services, profile management, identity integrations, and platform operations
• Drive the evolution of identity capabilities toward a scalable, cloud-native, API-first architecture while ensuring secure, seamless, and reliable customer experiences
• Drive AI enabled transformations and execution strategies
• Identify and manage risks, engage teams to drive towards resolution
• Identify and manage cross-workstream technical dependencies
• End-to-End Program Plan and timely tracking and reporting
• Build and cultivate strong relationships with Business, Product and Technology partners and vendors to support the delivery roadmap
