Job summary

CVS Health Digital seeks a Lead Director – Digital Engineering to own strategy, modernization, delivery, and operations of customer identity platforms serving millions of customers across Health100, Caremark, Specialty, Retail and more.

This senior leader will partner with Product, Security and Architecture to advance secure, scalable identity capabilities, drive AI-enabled transformations, and build high-performing teams delivering business outcomes at scale.

Qualifications

10+ years in software engineering or platform engineering roles.
7+ years leading engineering management teams.
Experience defining technology strategy and modernization programs.
5+ years in cloud-native, API-first platforms.
Strong CIAM, authentication, authorization and identity security knowledge.
Proven budget, vendor and investment decision experience.
Track record delivering scalable, available, secure platforms.
Experience using AI/automation to boost productivity and UX.

Responsibilities

Lead multi-team engineering organization for authentication services, profile management, identity integrations and platform operations.
Drive scalable cloud-native architecture and secure, seamless customer experiences.
Oversee program plans, risk management and cross-workstream dependencies.
Define, measure and report KPIs and business outcomes for the digital identity portfolio.
Collaborate with Product, Security, Architecture, Infrastructure and vendors to deliver the roadmap.
