Job summary

Assembled (United States) is hiring a Head of Deployments to lead our Deployments function end to end, including WFM onboarding, AI deployments, and time-to-value for customers. You will own the team of Deployment Strategists and build scalable playbooks from a structured starting point.

You’ll drive pre-sales alignment, capacity planning, and a strong services approach with a target of $1M in Services revenue in 12 months, while reporting to executive leadership and shaping the deployment

Qualifications

• Experience leading a deployment or services team with 8+ people.
• Strong customer-facing orientation and executive-level communication.
• Hands-on, builder's mindset with ability to create repeatable processes.
• Experience with pre-sales and value framing in AI adoption contexts.
• Startup or consulting/services background.

Responsibilities

• Own Deployments end to end: onboarding, project management, and time-to-value for new customers, including AI deployments.
• Lead and develop the Deployment Strategist team with coaching and capacity planning.
• Create scalable deployment playbooks for high-ambiguity starts.
• Own sales-to-deployment handoff: scoping, SOW guardrails, and alignment.
• Own revenue number and an 80/20 base-to-variable split; help package services and drive $1M in services revenue in 12 months.
• Monitor time-to-value benchmarks and serve as escalation point for at-risk deployments.
