Motorola Solutions is seeking a Director of Computer Vision to lead the technical vision and execution for our AI-powered platform. You will drive foundational research, architecture, and a scalable CV stack that spans edge and cloud deployments.

You will manage a distributed team of 50–100 engineers and researchers, shape the product roadmap, measure performance with robust metrics, and partner with customers to translate complex needs into concrete technical plans.

Competenze

• 10+ years leading computer vision teams and enterprise-scale platforms.
• Deep expertise in computer vision, ML algorithms, and the end-to-end MLOps lifecycle.
• Experience defining long-term technical vision and roadmaps for large-scale platforms.
• Ability to lead distributed engineering/research org across geographies.
• Hands-on experience with AI performance metrics and real-time video processing.
• Start-up mindset with ownership and bias for action; comfortable with ambiguity.
• Domain knowledge in public safety, security-focused software, or emergency comms is a plus.

Mansioni

• Define the long-term research agenda for foundational computer vision capabilities.
• Provide executive technical leadership to architecture, strategy, and roadmap for the Computer Vision Platform.
• Manage and scale a distributed CV research and engineering organization across geographies.
• Own the end-to-end MLOps lifecycle for CV models and AI infrastructure.
• Define and track technical performance metrics (latency, throughput, reliability) to drive improvement.
• Evaluate cutting-edge CV research and manage build-vs-buy decisions.
