Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Director of Computer Vision to define the long-term research agenda and to lead the platform's architecture, roadmap, and deployment strategy. You will guide MLOps, monitor performance, and mentor a distributed team across geographies to accelerate safe, scalable video analytics that align with product goals.

This executive role requires deep CV/ML know-how, strong leadership, and a startup-mentality in a large enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical leadership experience leading computer vision teams and organizations.
• Deep expertise in computer vision, machine learning, and the end-to-end MLOps lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience building and optimizing computer vision models or research.
• Ability to define architectural vision for central AI infrastructure and models.
• Experience managing distributed teams across geographies (50–100).

Responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous customer needs into executable technical roadmaps.
• Define and drive the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for the Computer Vision Platform.
• Lead talent strategy and scale a distributed research and engineering organization.
