Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Director of Computer Vision to drive the technical vision and engineering execution for our platform, focusing on scalable visual intelligence, MLOps, and AI infrastructure. You will lead a distributed team of 50–100 across geographies, define architecture, recruit and mentor talent, and translate ambiguous customer needs into executable roadmaps.

This role requires deep CV/ML expertise, enterprise-scale deployment experience, and a startup mentality to own 0-to-1

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical leadership in computer vision teams.
• 5+ years building/deploying CV models and AI infrastructure.
• Architectural vision for central AI infrastructure and models.
• Led distributed org with 50–100 people.
• Startup/move-fast experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term research agenda for foundational computer vision capabilities.
• Provide executive technical leadership, architecture, and roadmap for the CV Platform.
• Manage and scale a distributed research/engineering organization across geographies.
• Own end-to-end MLOps, scalable training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Define metrics and drive continuous improvement in performance.
• Evaluate new CV technologies and lead build-versus-buy decisions.
