Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Director of Computer Vision to lead the technical vision and engineering execution for the platform, focusing on foundational research, architecture, and scalable AI infrastructure.

You will guide a distributed CV research and engineering team, drive end-to-end MLOps, and define metrics to measure performance while translating customer needs into actionable roadmaps for enterprise-grade video analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical leadership leading computer vision teams and enterprises.
• Deep expertise in computer vision, ML algorithms and MLOps lifecycle.
• Proven ability to define architecture and roadmaps for reusable AI infra.
• Experience scaling a distributed engineering and research org.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term Foundational Research Strategy and culture of scientific excellence.
• Provide executive technical leadership, architecture, and roadmap for CV platform.
• Manage and scale a distributed CV research/engineering org (50–100 people).
• Own End-to-End MLOps and deployment across edge and cloud environments.
• Define metrics for latency, throughput, reliability, and model efficiency.
• Evaluate new CV research, mitigate technical risks, and guide build-vs-buy decisions.
