Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking a Manager of Commercial Applied AI Architects to drive frontier AI adoption across mid-market and SMB customers. You will lead a team delivering Claude API, Claude Code, the Agent SDK, and Claude for Enterprise, helping customers deploy AI at scale.

You will mentor engineers, own hiring and career growth, develop playbooks, and partner with Commercial sales to align segment strategy. Represent Anthropic at customer sites and events while advancing AI engineering.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical customer-facing roles with 3+ years in leadership.
• Proven ability to hire, coach, and provide direct feedback.
• Experience leading technical teams in high-velocity sales.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications and production systems.
• Familiarity with agentic architectures and modern AI developer tooling.
• Systems thinker with ability to implement scalable structure.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and grow a team of Commercial Applied AI Architects with high credibility.
• Own hiring for the team and build onboarding for new architects.
• Set goals and conduct reviews; provide clear career feedback.
• Define qualification and prioritization framework for Applied AI across a large book.
• Work alongside architects on engagements from discovery to deployment.
• Build and own technical playbooks for Claude API, Claude Code, Agent SDK, and Claude for Enterprise.
• Partner with Commercial sales leadership to align segment strategy.
• Ensure mid-market signals feed back to Product and Engineering.
• Represent Anthropic technically at customer sites and events.
• Stay ahead of AI engineering landscape and keep team at frontier.
