Job summary

Anthropic Limited in San Francisco seeks an Applied AI team member as a Pre-Sales architect to become a trusted technical advisor for large enterprises, guiding Claude adoption and deployment within their technology stacks.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to move customers from discovery to deployment, design scalable architectures, develop evals, and articulate the business value of Claude while upholding safety and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager
• Experience working with enterprise customers and navigating complex buying cycles
• Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders including C-suite executives
• Strong technical communication skills translating requirements between technical and business teams
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems
• Comfortable with Python
• Familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools or a ML/data science background
• Excitement for cross-organizational collaboration and balancing priorities
• Passion for safe and beneficial AI and clear communication of trade-offs

Responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Serve as primary technical advisor to enterprise customers from discovery through deployment
• Support customers building with the Claude API and Claude for Work
• Create and deliver technical content for diverse audiences
• Guide technical architecture decisions and Claude integration
• Help customers develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude's performance
• Identify common integration patterns and feedback insights to Product/Engineering
• Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops and deep dives
• Maintain knowledge of latest LLM developments
