Job summary

Anthropic, a leader in responsible AI, is seeking a seasoned Manager of the Financial Services Solutions Architect team within Applied AI. You will grow a pre-sales force helping banks, insurers, asset managers, and payments firms deploy Claude Code, Cowork, and the Claude Development Platform.

Strong leadership, technical depth, and GTM collaboration are essential. You will partner with sales, guide executives, and scale processes while staying ahead of AI trends.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales technical role.
• 3+ years of technical pre-sales management experience.
• Have sold complex technical products to Financial Services companies.
• Deep technical proficiency with enterprise AI use cases and API integrations or enterprise solution rollouts.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and guide a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects with technical guidance and career development.
• Set goals for your team in collaboration with sales and cross-functional teams.
• Advise strategic customers on AI adoption strategies and top use case scoping.
• Partner with sales leadership to drive adoption within targeted verticals or use cases.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to address customer feedback and blockers.
• Travel to customer sites and conferences for executive sessions and workshops.
• Create a shared vision for safe, beneficial AI in technology products.
• Contribute to thought leadership through conferences, webinars, and content.
