Job summary

CVS Health Digital is hiring a Lead Director – Digital Engineering to lead the Customer Identity program, shaping authentication, profile management, and identity integrations at scale. You will partner with Product, Security, Architecture, and Business teams to modernize platforms and deliver secure, high-availability services across CVS Health platforms.

The role requires 10+ years in software/ platform engineering with 7+ years in people leadership, strong CIAM knowledge, and a track record

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
10+ years of professional software/ platform engineering experience.
7+ years in people leadership including engineering managers and senior managers.

Responsibilities

Lead multi-team engineering organization for authentication, profile management, identity integrations, and platform operations.
Evolve identity capabilities toward cloud-native, API-first architecture with secure, reliable experiences.
Drive AI-enabled transformations and execution strategies.
Identify and manage risks and cross-workstream dependencies.
Oversee end-to-end program planning, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
Build relationships with Business, Product, and Technology partners to support the roadmap.
