Job summary

AXA XL in Hartford invites a senior leader to head Claims Analytics for the Americas. You will define the analytics strategy, governance, and transformation initiatives across BU Americas, partnering with underwriters, actuaries, and technology teams to drive measurable performance improvements.

The role requires extensive cross‑functional leadership, data governance expertise, and a track record of delivering value through analytics and AI-enabled initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex cross‑functional analytics and transformation programs in P&C insurance.
• Strong data governance and ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Demonstrated executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders across functions.
• Proven leadership of teams and capability to drive change across regional and global partners.
• Deep understanding of underwriting, pricing, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and execution of the Americas Claims Analytics strategy with measurable improvements in performance and growth.
• Lead cross‑functional analytics, performance, and transformation initiatives across the claims function.
• Build and mature a high‑performing analytics capability with governance, standards, and talent needs.
• Use data, market intelligence, and loss experience to identify risks, opportunities, and prioritised actions.
• Own the regional claims performance management framework, KPIs, scorecards, and governance processes.
• Own the data governance agenda in partnership with global teams and ensure reliable insights.
• Partner with Tech & AI, Product Owners, and Global Data & Analytics to roadmap regional initiatives.
• Identify emerging technologies and partnerships that strengthen performance and efficiency.
• Lead change and adoption of new analytics capabilities and ways of working.
