Job summary

AXA XL is seeking the Head of Claims Analytics – Americas to define and drive a regional analytics strategy across claims performance, leakage reduction, and profitable growth. You will lead complex analytics workstreams, partner with underwriting, actuarial, and technology leaders, and build a high‑performing analytics capability in a regional context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; insurance certifications such as AIC, CPCU, ARM, or similar are a plus.
• Extensive experience leading complex, cross‑functional analytics, claims performance, or transformation programs within the P&C insurance industry, ideally across a regional or international matrixed environment.
• Deep claims expertise and commercial acumen with understanding of how claim performance influences underwriting, pricing, profitability, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and execution of the Americas Claims Analytics strategy with measurable improvements in performance and growth.
• Lead complex, cross‑functional analytics, performance, and transformation initiatives with clear priorities and accountabilities.
• Build and lead a high‑performing Claims Analytics capability, establish operating model, governance, and quality standards.
• Identify emerging risks, opportunities, and priorities from data, market intelligence, and performance to influence underwriting and pricing decisions.
• Own the regional claims performance framework with KPIs, scorecards, and governance for sustainable results.
• Oversee data governance agenda with global teams to ensure reliable, actionable insights across portfolios.
• Define and execute regional AI and technology roadmap focusing on value and strategic fit.
• Evaluate partnerships and new analytics capabilities to strengthen performance and client outcomes.
