Job summary

UPMC is recruiting a Pathologist for the Head and Neck Pathology Center of Excellence, within the Division of Anatomic Pathology. The role requires subspecialty training and an academic interest in Head and Neck Surgical Pathology, with duties spanning diagnostic sign-out, teaching, and leadership within the COE.

The successful candidate will contribute to translational research efforts, engage with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in a one-year ACGME accredited Head and Neck Pathology

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and board-certified in Anatomic Pathology.
• Specialty training and academic interest in Thoracic pathology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Head and Neck COE Director on service and operations.
• Participate in COE meetings at UPMC/Hillman Cancer Center.
• Represent the Dept. nationally and internationally.
• Mentor and teach fellows and residents in Head and Neck Pathology.
• Sign out surgical pathology cases as needed.
• Participate in research initiatives.
