Job summary

UPMC Southwestern PA, in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, is recruiting a Pathologist for the Head and Neck Pathology Center of Excellence. The appointment is in the academic clinical track and requires subspecialty training and scholarly interest in Head and Neck Surgical Pathology.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with AP board certification and subspecialty training in head and neck pathology.
• Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure.
• Strong record of scholarly activity and publications.

Responsibilities

• Sign out surgical pathology cases as needed.
• Mentor and teach Head and Neck pathology fellows and residents.
• Participate in research initiatives and translational pathology projects.
• Provide leadership and guidance to develop diagnostic and research initiatives.
