Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Pathologist with subspecialty training in Head and Neck Surgical Pathology to join the Head and Neck Pathology Center of Excellence. The appointment is in the academic clinical track, offering leadership opportunities and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will sign out surgical pathology cases, mentor residents and fellows, and participate in translational pathology efforts using digital resources.

Qualifications

• MD/DO and Board certified in Anatomic Pathology with specialty training and academic interest in Head and Neck Pathology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania is required.
• A strong record of scholarly activity and publications.

Responsibilities

• Sign out surgical pathology cases as needed.
• Work with Head and Neck COE Director on service roles and operations.
• Mentor and teach Head and Neck pathology fellows and residents.
• Participate in COE meetings and national/international representation.
• Contribute to research initiatives and translational pathology projects.
