Job summary

UPMC Division of Anatomic Pathology invites applications for a Pathologist in the Head and Neck Pathology Center of Excellence (COE). The appointment is in the academic clinical track with subspecialty training and an interest in Head and Neck Surgical Pathology.

The COE includes four head and neck pathologists, handles over 3,500 cases per year, and collaborates with Head and Neck Surgical and Medical Oncology groups. Candidates will mentor fellows and participate in research and education.

Qualifications

• Must have an M.D./DO and Board certified in Anatomic Pathology with specialty training and academic interest in thoracic pathology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania is required.
• A good record of and commitment to scholarly activities and publications.

Responsibilities

• Sign out surgical pathology cases as needed.
• Mentor Head and Neck pathology fellows and residents.
