Job summary

UPMC, Division of Anatomic Pathology, is recruiting a Pathologist for the Head and Neck Pathology Center of Excellence. The appointment is in the academic clinical track and requires subspecialty training and scholarly activity in Head and Neck Surgical Pathology.

The successful candidate will join a four-pathologist COE, provide diagnostic leadership, mentor fellows, and participate in translational projects with strong imaging, molecular and digital pathology resources at UPMC

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board certification in Anatomic Pathology with subspecialty in Head and Neck Pathology.
• Commitment to scholarly activities and publications.

Responsibilities

• Sign out surgical pathology cases as needed.
• Provide leadership and guidance to develop diagnostic and research initiatives.
• Mentor and teach Head and Neck Pathology fellows and residents.
• Collaborate with Head and Neck COE Director on service operations and research.
• Participate in COE meetings and national/international representation.
